Amanda Sage is a visionary artist using her painting as a tool for spiritual and planetary growth and transformation. Her paintings represent multidimensional aspects of humanness in harmonious balance. While affecting the senses on a visceral level, they explore the potential to activate the audience in spiritual areas and provide access to deeper planes of being.

Amanda was born 1978 in Denver, Colorado and graduated 1996 from the Shining Mnt. Waldorf School in Boulder. Following High School her drive for higher education led to working with revolutionary midwife Robin Lim (voted 2011 CNN Hero) and studying Batik in Bali, Indonesia. In 1997 she began a two year apprenticeship to learn painting & print-making in the tradition of the old masters with Michael Fuchs in Vienna, Austria. This began a 10 year journey of developing her own work in Vienna in a studio at the cultural institution, WUK.  As well as working as an assistant to one of the godfathers of visionary art, Ernst Fuchs.

In 2007 she began exhibiting with the growing Visionary Art movement in the US. She now plays a prominent role exhibiting, lecturing and live painting at major shows & festivals worldwide. In 2010 she began teaching painting and giving transformational workshops around the world focused on the art of observation & expanding our perception through paint.

When not traveling to share her work, Amanda finds peace and inspiration in her rooftop studio sanctuary of renegade plants in downtown Los Angeles..
