This was a strange and wonderful project with La Maison Simons…our third in as many years, and perhaps the most dynamic! The words of our friend HARRY TSANTAROLAKIS (Directeur Marketing) sum it up beautifully!

With cold weather on the way, La Maison Simons teamed up with the Montreal-‐ based, multi-‐artist drawing collective, EN MASSE, to create a limited edition collection of Canada Goose coats for winter 2013. The coats feature a masterful mix of urban and fine art that has become synonymous with EN MASSE in designs that are as eye-‐catching as they are unique.

The idea for the collection with La Maison Simons came from the store’s CEO, Peter Simons, whose family has a deep-‐rooted passion for the arts and, like EN MASSE, is very involved in supporting local artistic communities. The five EN MASSE artists traded in their usual paintbrushes and walls for acrylic paint pens and fabric, working close to 30 hours to cover 12 Canada Goose coats with their original alternative designs. Six of the coats in the collection are for women, while the remaining six are for men. All twelve are numbered and signed by the five EN MASSE members who collaboratively worked on every coat in the collection.

These limited edition Canada Goose coats will be available exclusively at La Maison Simons’ newest store location in Galeries d’Anjou and all proceeds from their sale will be donated to charity.
